Tyler Boebert Faces 22 Criminal Counts

Ex-Husband Previously Arrested on Assault Charges

Tyler Boebert, the 18-year-old son of Republican Representative Lauren Boebert, was arrested on Tuesday in Rifle, Colorado, on 22 criminal counts. The charges are related to a string of alleged property thefts.

Lauren Boebert has four children with her ex-husband Jayson Boebert, including Tyler. Jayson Boebert was arrested in January on assault charges.

The charges against Tyler Boebert include one felony count of theft and 21 misdemeanor counts. He has been released on a $5,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

Lauren Boebert has not yet commented on her son's arrest.
